THE BASICS
Full name: Autumn
Pronunciation: AH-tuhm
Nickname(s) or Alias: "Rusty" (an affectionate nickname her mate called her)
Gender: Female
Species: Mongolian wolf
Age: Four years, six months.
Relationship Status: Single.
HOW DO YOU PRESENT YOURSELF?
Figure/build: Autumn's body is built for running and climbing. She has a sleek, flexible torso, with a broad chest and hard, calloused paws. In most cases, her fur is shaggy and long, but due to the effects of the virus, her body has begun to wither bit by bit (thus causing her fur to become shorter). Her tail is long and wispy, retaining Autumn's former long-haired state.
Fur color: Her fur is a myriad of browns, tans, and blacks, with a spot of white surrounding her muzzle and grey shading the tops of her paws.
Scars/distinguishing marks: On her left foreleg, Autumn bears a small, x-shaped scar she received when she fought a badger as a juvenile wolf.
WHAT ARE YOU LIKE?
Personality: To sum up Autumn's entire being in a short phrase: she's very emotional. Nearly all of the time she's lost in the world around her, thriving and decaying in sync with nature. If she were human, she would be called spiritual or religious. She believed something existed in the sky above her (perhaps the wolf gods, or some human deity) because throughout her life, she received signs that made her believe in god-like entities. Autumn is always involved with everything, she always seems to know what to do and when to do it. After losing her own pups, she gained a bigger soft spot for the little ones, being motherly towards pups that aren't even hers. She's sweet and intelligent, and comes off as ditsy. She's creative and adventurous, and she's a master strategist. She constantly thinks of others and how she can help make everyone in the pack happy at all times. She's playful and daring at times, oblivious and serene at others, and a strong sentinel when her pack needs her most.
Likes: Pups, water, fishing, meadows, soft grass, lily flowers
Dislikes: Rattlesnakes, cars, lightning
Fears/phobias: Dying from the virus/friends dying from the virus, suffocating, astraphobia (fear of getting struck by lightning), shadows in unnatural places
Talents/Skills: Autumn has a sort of sixth sense when it comes to pups in danger. Having been a mother herself, she gained an abnormally enhanced version of a mother hen due to her pups dying one by one. She has a brilliant mind when it comes to creating battle strategies (she used to play war with her siblings as a pup) and can sprint for longer lengths of time than the normal wolf. She's skilled with her claws, her days as a rogue self-teaching her several killing moves using only her foreclaws.

WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN THROUGH?
Autumn was born within a weak, unorganized pack, along with her three brothers and sisters. Soon after she gained her eyesight and hearing, their family was kicked out of the pack. The alpha male, Berhund, believed Autumn and her siblings to be mixed breeds (which was forbidden in the pack) and ordered several guards to kill her father, Rathon. Autumn and her siblings were caught in the fray, losing their youngest brother Pinion to the deadly swipe of a guard's claws. Her father was mercilessly killed, but the guard wolves let the rest of the broken family go free. They had no orders to kill the family.
Autumn's mother, Celeste, quickly fled the scene with her remaining pups, hoping a new environment would help her children forget the horror they had seen. They came to a rest several days later in a small, elliptical clearing, very well-hidden from a passerby's point of view. They arrived in Winter, staying in contentment throughout Spring and into Summer. Unfortunately, the youngest she-pup, Nissa, collapsed from malaria. Celeste had to move her children again, in frantic search of a safe home. During their travels through a thick forest deep in the heart of Russia, her small family ran into a startling large nest of rattlesnakes, who fell upon them with killing intent. Having fallen in first, Celeste yelled at her children to run; that she would catch up to them later. Autumn raced for an escape with her younger brother Eli, but their mother never showed. They seemed to run for hours on end, finally coming to a populated highway several miles away from where their mother had fallen. Autumn knew to look for cars, and soon they saw a break in the traffic. She told her brother to go first, but told him too soon. As Eli stepped into the road, a car flew from around the bend, smashing into the pup head on. All she heard was a sharp yelp and the revving of the engine as the car raced on. Her brother's body rolled off the side of the road, landing in a crumpled heap.
Autumn couldn't stay by the road forever. She ran for days on end, taking breaks every once in a while to catch some sleep. She struggled on her own until after she reached her second year of age. An alpha female from a pack known as Silent Hollow found Autumn on a forest path, exhausted and out of her wits. The wolf, known to her pack as Stormbreaker, took Autumn in and nursed her back into sanity. She became a member of the small pack, gaining the beta rank. She fell in love with a handsome golden wolf called Misuli, the two becoming mates after a month or so of courting one another. She birthed five pups with her mate, but Fate didn't smile upon her. Two of her pups were stillborn. By that time, the virus had already spread throughout the land, even leaking into their pack. Two more of her children died from the fatal virus, leaving her with a single pup to care for. Only two months after the pups died from the virus, Misuli collapsed on the way to the river near their clearing. He died shortly after, a victim of the virus.
A victim of so many deaths, Autumn felt more nostalgic and depressed than ever as she lived in the pack with her single pup, named after her brother Eli. She accompanied Stormbreaker and another wolf, Dimikov, on a scouting trip, bringing along her son. As they took a rest next to a small creek, Eli wandered off from the group towards a bush. Autumn, having a lapse in attention, didn't see him pawing curiously at a shaking bush. Only when his sharp cry pierced the air did she jolt into action, facing her pup. Eli was caught in a stranglehold by a rattlesnake, the creature hissing loudly as it sank its fangs deep into Eli's muzzle, injecting venom straight into his skull. The pup could only yelp helplessly as he died almost instantly, but quite painfully. Stormbreaker and Dimikov were far too shocked to move, but Autumn was furious. She charged the satisfied reptile, tearing through him with her claws and teeth. It died almost instantly, with little time to react. She said nothing about the incident, ignoring Stormbreaker and Dimikov when they tried to bring it up. The other members of the pack noticed she no longer had Eli, but were warned by Stormbreaker not to question Autumn. She had already suffered enough.
Fate didn't seem to agree. Over the course of six months, Silent Hollow began to deteriorate as its members fell ill and died from the effects of the virus, soon leaving only Stormbreaker and Autumn alive. The two set off together, travelling for several months, searching for a new home to bunker down in. They had stumbled across a large den, big enough for the two of them. They quickly began to settle in, but were disrupted when a grumpy badger came in to steal their den. Stormbreaker fought against the angry creature for a good while, Autumn joining the fray as they fought to keep their home. Stormbreaker didn't dodge a swipe from the badger fast enough, though, and died in front of Autumn, her side ripped open by three thick gashes. The creature gave Autumn an ugly x-shaped scar on her left foreleg, leaving her with a reminder that she needed to be put in her place.
With the virus contaminating nearly everything she saw, Autumn figured she would die soon enough. Already close to her fourth year, she wandered the forests of Norway for a time, eventually crossing the border into Austria and then into Germany. She found a she-wolf wandering around the forests there, confused and lost and quite afraid. She called herself X, and was a victim of amnesia. Together, they began to piece back their lives; X's sketchy memory, Autumn's sanity. They traveled with only one another for company for several months, struggling to find a place to survive. They stumbled across a detailed clearing and immediately claimed it for their new home, the area soon becoming their camp for their slowly growing pack.
