FORUM RULES
o1. This forum is PG-13, so expect some content not to be appropriate to, let's say, ten year olds. However, regardless of it's rating, I expect members to be mature and respectful.
o2. Art theft and design theft is, obviously, not allowed. If you are caught doing so, the proper actions will be put forth.
o3. Cursing on the boards is allowed, however please keep in mind there are younger users viewing this. With that, do not curse often and at random just because you can, and please avoid stronger language.
o4. Do not take role-play seriously, if someone's character insults yours, that does not mean they are insulting you. Do not insult them as a person, remember that it is only role-play and isn't real.
o5. Relating to number four, please do not be rude to anyone ever for any reason at all. This should be a nice, respectful community, where people feel safe and they can enjoy their time here.
CHARACTER RULES
o1. Your character must be realistic when they are created. This is because any unrealistic features can be gained by winning or competing in events, contests, and purchasing them in the shop. Simply put, they are awards that must be earned. This also means powers are not allowed on your character.
o2. There is no limit to what kind of wolf your character can be, regardless of where it's from. Despite them either being extinct or not an actual wolf, you may also role-play as a maned wolf or dire wolf.
o3. Your picture must be of an actual wolf. Not a drawing, an actual photograph, edited or not. This may effect your species choice.
o4. Be sure that the picture you use is actually for free use, or that you either own or have paid for it.
o5. You may start off with one wolf (i.e. one account). Extra characters can be purchased via the shop.
ROLE-PLAY RULES
(Before we get to the rules, I must first state that you are free to create a thread on the role-play boards at any given time to role-play on. Just be sure to explain what the situation/plot of it is, and that it is open, so other members may jump in at their choosing.)
o1. This is a literate role-play, so I expect at least 150 words per post. To enforce this, a word counter has been placed in the role-play boards that will restrict you from posting if you do not meet the minimum.
o2. When you join, please be active. It's annoying when someone joins and then never posts again.
o3. Genders do not have to be balanced, but if it gets to the point where it's a 3/4 ratio, then I will only allow the needed gender for a while unless a good excuse is given to me.
o4. Real pictures only, please. I'd like to keep it as realistic as possible, which leads me to tell you that no powers will be allowed, and only wolf characters are permitted unless I give you permission to role-play something like a bear or creature. Otherwise bears and other creatures will be npcs that everyone can role-play given a situation where interaction is needed.
o5. Cursing is allowed, although it must be kept PG-13 and be at the bare minimum.
o6. Romance isn't really encouraged. It can take place, it's just that this is a survival horror rp, and romance usually doesn't fit in well with these kind of role-plays. However, that doesn't mean you can't role-play it!
o7. You can have one character. If it dies, you may make another. And yes, your character can die in this role-play. For certain events, like battles, plagues, floods, and other natural disasters, I will place names of characters, even my own, into a random selector, and that character will be killed off for the owner to create a new one. It makes it much more interesting if your character isn't immortal. Heck, if you want, your new character can be a "reincarnated" version of the old one, not really picky on these standards. Injuries and winners of fights and brawls will be chosen the same way.
o8. Please be sure that you have some kind of indicator when you are talking out of character when in a role-play thread.
o9. For a personal inventory, please put that in your individual role-play posts. But don't go picking up items left and right, I will keep track and tell you when you have too much, or if you have something too unrealistic. Do not list coins. (To learn what personal inventories are, look at the role-play information thread.)
10. It would be preferred if you role-played in the third person.
11. Obviously, god modding isn't allowed, and neither is power-playing.
12. Liquid time IS allowed here, meaning you can join as many role-plays as you wish, but you must remember to keep active in all of them!
SHOP RULES
o1. No bribery! Or haggling. Prices will not be lowered except on special circumstances; and it will be for everyone, not just you.
o2. Regarding changes to your wolf's looks, you must remember to update your picture and biography. If you cannot update your picture with your wolf's upgrades, you may request someone else to do it. If you can't find anyone, simply tell a staff member and they will put the upgrade on hold for you until you can.
o3. You can buy as many extra characters as you want, but your money will not carry over, it is a new account and character and thus must start from scratch; including posting a biography.
o4. When you purchase a new character, tell the shop keeper what you will be naming it so the staff knows that it's you, so you won't be required to send in an rp example again.
o5. You MUST create a new account when you create a new character. You will not be punished, however, if you're more active on one character then another.
CHAT RULES
o1. About the same as the forum rules, except no cursing is allowed.
o2. Make sure you either sign in as a username everyone knows you by or your wolfs name.
o3. Do not spam the chat, please. It can cause lag and is quite annoying.
