Boss: Bosses are described as "the leaders of the group, and they're responsible for taking care of the pack and handling them. They are in charge of the whole thing, and are the main ones who make decisions." They work as the site administrators. This rank is nearly impossible to gain, and cannot be earned through activity and contests. The only way to become a boss is if a boss gains a mate, the mate will become a boss. If there is only one boss active, the other boss(es) will be removed and a council member of the active boss's choosing will become a boss; if there are no council members a deputy or guard will be upgraded. If a boss dies in role-play, their new character will, eventually, rank their way up to boss again. Their main account will not change, their points, however, will be cleared and their name will be changed. Only one wolf per account may have this rank.
Council Member: Council members are described as "high ranking members in the pack, and help the bosses out with decisions and plans that will effect the pack." They are site moderators, and their powers range between the bosses and the deputies. The way this rank is earned works quite differently then others, as it can only be earned if one was a deputy. A deputy can be upgraded to this rank after proving to be an extremely helpful member and winning a contest in which a rank is a prize. If a council member dies, it will be easier for their new wolf to rank back up to this rank. Only one wolf per account may have this rank.
Deputy: Deputies are described as "third in command, and even though they are usually not part of the council, they take part in some decisions. They mostly keep order within the pack." This rank, like The Guard, cannot be earned with simple activity. It can only be earned by winning contests; however only if the winner is considered a loyal, trustworthy member whom will not abuse these powers, and one who is extremely active. They are also moderators of the site, but do not have the same powers as council members. Only one wolf per account may have this rank.
The Guard: The Guard is described as "an elite group of wolves who's sole responsibility in the pack is to protect its members, however they stick closer to the higher ups, and more aggressive when bosses, council members, and deputies are threatened." The Guard rank is not available for members to rank up to with simple activity like others, and is even harder to obtain and is considered higher than the Doctor rank. The Guard rank can only be earned by winning contests. Only one wolf per account may have this rank.
Doctor: Taking on the human term, doctors are described as "responsible for the health and treatment of the members of the pack. They are high ranking and are often asked for advice, as they are usually extremely intelligent." To earn this rank, you must be extremely active, and usually must first take on another rank after you upgrade from one of the two open ones before upgrading yet again to this rank. Only one wolf per account may have this rank.
Assassin: Assassins are described as being "very stealthy and dangerous. Although there aren't many of them, there doesn't need to be. They are trained to fight and spy, and are comfortable moving about in the shadows." You can earn this rank simply by being active.
Scavenger: Scavengers are described to "steal out of the pack's territory to collect food and supplies, and are usually accompanied by one or two assassins." They are the hunters of the pack, and this rank is earned by being active.
Sentry: Sentries are described as "wolves who stand post at the main base and scout around the territory, making sure that everything is as it should be. They report if anything is strange or changing, or warn the pack of danger. They are usually the weaker, more fragile members of the pack." This rank is earned by being active.
Survivor: Survivors are described as "simply everyone else in the pack. They have no specific job and have close to no privileges, and they must work to acquire a rank. They do errands for other members most of the time." This is an open rank, one of the two members are required to join in when first joining the pack.
Expendables: Expendables are described as "members of the pack that are just, well, expendable. They are almost always heavily injured wolves that cannot be healed, elderly wolves, traitors, pregnant wolves, and pups. They are often treated the worst and can only escape this rank in certain circumstances, such has they are no longer pregnant, grow up, or are forgiven." This is an open rank, if one wishes for a more challenging rank to escape, however if you are put here for breaking rules it will be much harder, and the council has to agree on letting you upgrade again.
Pack Friend: Pack Friends are described as "Individual wolves that are not necessarily part of the pack, however are friendly with them." They're not able to post in the main role-play boards, but they are able to post in the ooc boards, as well as participate in contests and events, which means they are also able to earn coins, to an extent!
